Education in Benne

Benne offers free public education to every person. We have 4 levels of education:

• Preschool (Kindy & Reception)

• Primary School (Years 1-5)

• Secondary School (Years 6-11)

• Senior Secondary School (Years 10, 11 & TAFE)

It is compulsory to complete R-7, 8/9 can be skipped if you meet certain requirements, the rest is voluntary.

Benne has a three term per year structure with each term being 13 weeks in length with at least 3 weeks of holiays between them.
