Starting in October the annual review of the workers agreement will be taking place, and will come into affect on January 1st 2026. The Wellbeing Department has said the main topics of interest will be:

• Wage growth

• Shift length & breaks

• Workers rights

• Casual conversion

• Penalty rates

• Hours of work

The two largest employers in Benne (after BenneGov) BMART Group and ASKS Group are expected to work with the Wellbeing Department on the review, both are yet to release any statements.

Community consultation is open, a suggestions and feedback box will be located at the World Administrative Centre. There will also be three public consultation meetings at Benne College (in the senior years building) on:

• Monday 30th of September 7:00pm

• Thursday 3rd of October 9:00pm

• Monday 7th of October 7:45pm
