Two bees were located in the Lakeside Shopping Village today, which prompted an immediate evacuation into the open airs outside.

"I was taking a big fat one in the toilets when I heard the alarm...I immediately awoke...I realised I had to take safety into my own hands" - Beth

Emergency services quickly responded.

"We caught the bees and released them into Little Worms Daycare as there on holidays until the 30th of January...it's ingenious really" - Hunk

Concerned citizens respond:

"It's concerning a bee can make it's way into a (open planned) public space like that.." said Olivia "Surely they have repellent what if the bee stung someone!"

"I take my kids there every Saturday at peak hour what if a swarm of bees was in there....WE COULD DIE!!!"

"I think we need a dedicated bee protection squid to euthanise humans"
